The Shokz Guide, Starcraft 2 Guide

Starcraft 2 Beta is here!

It has been a long time coming and the Starcraft 2 Beta has finally arrived. I like many have been waiting for this moment for a long time.

The Starcraft 2 Beta is currently only for the PC so I’m going to be switching my Mac over to Windows 7 and start downloading the Beta right away. As I’m downloading the Beta like mad I can’t help but think that in a few hours I’ll actually be playing Starcraft 2! After 10 years of waiting the moment is here. I’ve always talked with friends saying that if they would just update the graphics of the original starcraft and left everything the same the game would be great!

While downloading the Beta Blizzard revealed the minimal requirements. While like most Blizzard games they don’t require a lot out of your system. Most computers in the last 5 years will have no problem playing the game.

PC Minimum Requirements:

• Windows XP SP3/Vista SP1/Windows 7
• 2.2 Ghz Pentium IV or equivalent AMD Athlon processor
• 1 GB system RAM/1.5 GB for Vista and Windows 7
• 128 MB NVidia GeForce 6600 GT/ATI Radeon 9800 PRO video card
• 1024×768 minimum display resolution
• 4 GB free hard space (Beta)
• Broadband connection

I’ve also heard that some players did not receive an email from Blzzard and that the Starcraft 2 Beta had showed up on their Battle.net account. So if you signed up for the Beta opt in then I would check your account out.
